Lucinka Eisler
is Artistic Director of Stamping Ground Theatre, whose A Quiet Afternoon played
to sell-out houses at the Dublin Fringe '05, Riverside Studios and the BAC.
She was co-writer and assistant director for award-winning Theatre O (on Three
Dark Tales, Total Theatre Award winner and The Argument, Barbican
Centre, UK and international touring). She assisted Rufus Norris on the Young
Vic production of Tintin at the Barbican and was recently staff
director on the National Theatre's Market Boy , directed by Rufus
Norris. As a performer, Lucinka has worked with Wonderful Beast Theatre,
Fail Better Porductions, the Roxy Theatre in Prague and at the Royal Opera
House.

Giulia Innocenti
is co-founder of Attic People ("a consummate ensemble", Total Theatre
Magazine), whose Drip (Tap Water Award for Best Physical Theatre and
NSDF Award for Best Total Ensemble) played to full houses at Edinburgh
Fringe '02 before being invited to the ICA and touring the UK and internationally.
She co-devised and performed in Blind Summit Theatre's Low Life (nominated
for a Total Theatre Award), a sell-out at the London International Mime
Festival '06. She has recently performed in Anthony Minghella's production
of Madame Butterfly for the ENO.

Ben Lewis
is co-founder of People Can Run ("One of the most energetic,
inventive and riotously funny theatre companies around" The Metro)
whose shows Aruba and The Ushers packed houses at the Pleasance
and on tour in the UK and abroad in 2004 and 2005. He also co-devised and
performed in Stamping Ground's A Quiet Afternoon and, for Theatre
by Design, The Hunting of the Snark ( NSDF Cameron Mackintosh
Award and Judges' commendation for Ingenuity; Stephen Joseph Theatre)
and Beautiful Cosmos (Tron Theatre, Glasgow).

STAMPING GROUND THEATRE
was founded in 2004 by Artistic Director Lucinka Eisler. The company's
first production was A Quiet Afternoon , a highly expressive devised
piece inspired by the writing of acclaimed Czech author Bohumil Hrabal . The
piece was developed with support from Arts Council England, the London Czech
Centre, the Jerwood Space and Lottery Awards for All. Following its
acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe '04 debut, A Quiet Afternoon has toured
the UK and Ireland playing at venues including the Battersea Arts Centre,
the Riverside Studios, Bath Theatre Royal, Brighton Komedia and The Old Museum,
Belfast. The company took part in the Dublin Fringe Festival 2005 and has
been invited to festivals in Adelaide, Armenia and Poland.
